Everything was dark until the noise was heard again.
Clank, clank, clank
Parts of the darkness gave way to dim light. In front there stood person who had a knife at his hip, something that seemed to be a firearm,  and his face was covered by a hood and bandana.
He seemed confused. I had no idea what he was saying. He picked up a heavy looking bag that made a metallic sound and made a signal to follow him. As we walked away I noticed that I had been taken out of a sarcofagus, it was the temple catacombs. The walls of the temple were covered with moss and the wall cracked or broken. As we went ouside, my face was struck with violent warm winds and my greeted eyes with a sea of sand.
After wandering for hours a town was visible at the distance. The people there taught me different languages and their customs. They said the year was 35 AD. One day the sheets and metal stuck to me when I woke up. And as I grabbed hold of a pole it began to emit a light making a crackling sound. Suddently it was sent flying accross the room, I examined my hands to check for any anomalies but everything seemed normal. Another day I sat down to pray at the now broken temple and when my hands made contact a spark came out. I repeated this but this time a sphere of lightning sprang from my palms and crushed a wall. I lived in a building they called an orphananage but after a while I was moved to something called a laboratory in hopes of discovering the secret to a longer life. There where some black, rope like objects attached to a piece of metal in my back. Things got worsened little by little.
"We should leave" said a voice that seemed to have no owner since no one was there at the moment but seemed familiar.
"Who's there?" It was a natural question to ask.
"Tch. A few days and you forget?"
"Raziel"
"Yeah, we gotta get outa here this is draining my energy. Concentrate and focus your energy at the count of three. 1, 2, 3" An arm extended from above my head and tore of the rope-like objects which were followed by lound noise. "We'll be found out, focus once more, give it your best." The room was covered in dust and I saw him stand in front of me, Raziel had been with me all this time. Two people came with large fire arms. Raziel punched the floor to obstruct their sight then punched the roof to escape. He told me to grab his cloak. He uttered some words and enormous wings appeared at his back, close to my feet. His feet pounded the ground as he ran and then took flight at an alarming speed which didn't agree with his size.

After what chasing after the seemingly endless horizon for months, the silhouetes of strange buildings that seemed to reach the sky surrounded by smaller buildings began to be seenthrough the rain of white powder.
"Let's go" Said his voice.
The sign at the entrance read "Starlyt City". The moment I, rather we, stepped into the city was the start of yet another beginning which would define the new era.
Final part of the Mounting the Lightning story for my canceller Jin.

Notes of last part:
Raziel helps out Jin since he thinks it as punishment for taking the lives of the opposing army, who was more humane than his, in the war.
Jin doesn't grow since he's somewhat of a zombie. (Need to correct that on the next drawing)
Raziel uses a storm so that the people at the temple take shelter, and so that the children don't see him kill the former general. Attacks Jin's sister since she would refuse to let him pass, wasn't going for a kill.
Raziel ends up with Jin in a misunderstanding. Raziel tells him to leave (with the wrong words) but Jin thought it was a threat.
